TBS WEEK 2-3

These last two weeks of TBS have been full of revelation and breakthrough in the teens’ lives.
We have had three teachers spend time teaching the students on a variety of topics.

Daniel Mironchenko and Matthew McCluskey leading the students into a deeper look at the father’s heart and how to hear the voice of God. The following week Meesh Fomenko taught students on their identity in Christ and covered issues that Christian youth face in today’s society.

During activities students got a chance to build new friendships on their trips to Six Flags, the beach, or Busch Gardens. They also participated in other activities during the week such as evangelizing and sharing their testimonies.

They learned first hand how to share the gospel and were able to put what they learned into practice during their assigned evangelism evenings. During testimony time the teens shared what they have been going through during TBS and how God has shaped them not only through the prayers but also by the friends that inspired them to keep going deeper into their relationship with God. Many of them were encouraged to share their story and see that through their revelations, others can receive breakthrough.

And last but not least, this past 4th of July weekend, we all gathered at the camp iceberg location for sports activities, swimming, and fellowship followed by an evening spent watching the firework show put on by SMBS admin!

As we enter into the last week of this TBS year, teens are preparing themselves to go back home and continue further in their walk with Christ that many of them began here. It will be bittersweet to say goodbye but we know the best is yet to come.
